Take a bus to Govindapuram from Mananchira pond. Walk up the hill to Central School. Very good view of the entire city and Arabian sea . The views are terrific but nobody comes here other than the school people. You can also access Govindapuram from Mankav junction on the bypass. MIMS Hospital is on the junction and MIMS College is on the Govindapuram road. You come by little towns like Valayanad and Korangot and finally reach Govindapuram town and Kendriya Vidyalaya. Pottammal junction looks very complicated because road leading to the city and medical college are joined by two other road in a ‘K’ shaped formation. The inner road to Kuthiravattom takes you by KWA and Balakrishnan Road to Govindapuram on the left . Going straight, you pass by Senguptha Library, S.K. Library, A.Damodaran Nair Road and the Kuthiravattom Psychiatric Hospital. When you move east of Athanickal junction at Palazhy you reach East Palazhi, Pavupoyil, Coir society and Payyadi Meethal. The deepam bus stop is the next followed by Bodhananda school, Punathil bazaar, Mundupalam, Jhansi shelter, Puthoor Mdam and Perumanna road. Turn right to vallikkunnu, Panniyur kulam, Edakoth, A.M.Hospital,Athany Residency, Bapuji School and finally the Pantheeran Kavu Junction on the highway.
